Ashley Neuhauser, LPC, CCTP

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (#4177) in the state of Alabama and hold a telehealth license in Florida.
After graduating in 2017, I began working with interpersonal trauma survivors and found a passion for helping others with stress management, anxiety, building coping skills, relationship navigation, and trauma processing. Beyond my education, I have worked to become a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional to further advance my work in the field. I also pursued training in EMDR to further my ability to help clients process trauma. I also have experience with dissociative disorders in the context of trauma.
Generally, I focus on true relationship building with my clients, while incorporating trauma focused techniques and modalities. As a therapist, I believe an authentic therapeutic relationship is truly healing and also will assist in reflection on society's impact on our lives.
Many of my policies align to assist with making therapy accessible for those that may have chronic illnesses and mental health conditions that impact the accessibility of therapy, such as a flexible late cancelation policy and telehealth options. I believe in coming as you are to therapy, and I will hold space for you in whatever way we can to ease your anxiety and pain while facing the challenges of everyday life.
Finally, know that I enjoy working with all populations, including affirmative approach with identity and those in emerging and young adulthood. I believe that you do not have need to have an active diagnosis to receive the benefits of therapy, and that therapists should assist in navigating medical gatekeeping to the best of our ability and scope. I work with multiple insurances, and I also provide out of network billing documentation, if a client wishes, to help you receive reimbursement from your insurance. Contact me or schedule or free new client consultation to begin healing.
