“Vulnerability sounds like truth and feels like courage. Truth and courage aren't always comfortable, but they're never weakness.” -Brené Brown |
Many clients seek my services to establish healthy boundaries, learn how to cope with strong emotions, or manage the complex relationships. As a counselor with a trauma focus, I work to provide a safe and secure environment to establish trust and honesty in therapy. I enjoy working with clients managing life transitions, especially women ages 18-35 years old, with a focus on the college population and early work/life stages. Due to the focus of trauma, I center my work with a trauma lens, assisting people processing abuse, difficult parent relationships, and healing. I also utilize a social justice framework in therapy, as I feel it is an important lens for true compassion.
